Be blessed
I found this video on Phyllis's site and loved it... I knew the song well but hadn't seen the video and I was really touched by the simpleness of it while conveying so much depth for all it stands for.
Michael W. Smith - Healing Rain
I only just met with my pastor yesterday and said that I wanted to do something to take Christ to the community instead of me just sitting in church every Sunday and waiting for the the community to come to us. It has been my heart for many years and I feel it's about time for me to do something with it.
Jesus walked with the people, he didn't sit in a temple waiting for the people to come. He met them where they were at and still does... only it's my turn to do the walking for him. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, thank you Phyllis :-)
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Be blessed, Nel xx
p.s. and I just LOVE standing in the rain. Guess there's still a little girl inside of me wanting to enjoy the fun, simple things in life... hope there is in you too!

Lovely blog!

Hi
Long time lurker - 1st time poster!!
I am in England, and we have plenty of rain if you want to come and stand in it! Its cold, and grey and I would give anything to feel hot sunshine on my face. I too love the simple things in life - give me a camping holiday over a swanky hotel any day. Even though its been cold and miserable here, I have sat around my Chimenea wrapped in a blanket with a hot water bottle until really late - star gazing. The family think I am insane - but I think they "get" me!!! Glad to hear you are sounding more positive.

I love your new photo Nel. Also your pretty fabrics that you have been buying. You ARE a light to the world in everything you do so don't get too frustrated. With your heart as open as it is God will bring His will to you when the time is right.

Oh yay! So glad I found this :)
I first heard that song in a MWS concert! All the women were oooing and ahhing screaming over his good looks and he turned his back on us! He said he wouldn't turn around if we gave him glory and not God. Everyone got quiet and we had an amazing concert. His violinist was so beautiful I could have just watched her play.
Yeah, I'm like you...time to reach out into the community and honestly there is nothing to be afraid of. People need a lifeline thrown to them.
